The Lead – Brand Partnerships, Sponsorships & Business Development will be responsible for driving revenue growth, brand building, strategic partnerships, sponsorship acquisition, and new business opportunities across Swordfish Integrated Marketing LLP's intellectual properties, including Echoes of Earth, The Sixth Sense, and future IPs, while also supporting business development for the agency's services and solutions.
The role will play a key part in strengthening the positioning, visibility, and commercial growth of Swordfish and its properties through meaningful partnerships, integrated brand campaigns, and long-term stakeholder relationships. The individual will be responsible for managing the complete journey from identifying opportunities and developing pitches to securing business, executing campaigns, and maintaining partner relationships.
Drive revenue growth through sponsorships, strategic partnerships, agency mandates, grants,
collaborations, and commercial opportunities.
Identify, approach, pitch, negotiate, and secure brand partnerships and sponsorships across all
Swordfish-owned IPs and agency services.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients, sponsors, partners, and collaborators.
Develop customized partnership opportunities aligned with partner objectives and Swordfish business
goals.
Identify opportunities that contribute not only to commercial objectives but also to the long-term
growth and visibility of Swordfish properties.
2. Strategic Relationship Development
Build and nurture relationships with brands, agencies, institutions, foundations, government bodies,
media partners, and cultural organizations.
Develop long-term partnerships that support business growth, brand building, thought leadership, and
ecosystem development.
Identify opportunities for multi-year collaborations and recurring business engagements.
Represent Swordfish and its IPs at industry events, conferences, networking forums, and partner
meetings.
Lead the complete lifecycle of partnerships and sponsorships, including prospecting, pitching, proposal
development, negotiations, closure, execution, reporting, and renewals.
Develop partnership concepts and integration opportunities across Swordfish IPs and agency projects.
Ensure all partnerships align with the vision, values, audience, and positioning of Swordfish and its
properties.
Build long-term relationships that create strategic, commercial, and brand value.
4. Stakeholder & Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, partners, clients, and collaborators.
Build strong relationships across pre-event, event, and post-event phases.
Identify opportunities for account growth, renewals, and long-term strategic engagement.
Maintain a high standard of partner servicing and relationship management.
5. Reporting, Budgeting & Pipeline Management
Maintain an updated business development, sponsorship, and partnership pipeline.
Track outreach, meetings, proposals, negotiations, closures, renewals, and campaign status.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, partnership performance, and revenue
forecasts.
Develop and manage budgets for partnership campaigns, sponsorship activations, and brand initiatives.
Monitor project spends, vendor costs, partner commitments, and campaign budgets to ensure efficient
utilization of resources.
Work closely with the Finance team on budget planning, reconciliation, invoicing, collections, and
commercial reporting.
Ensure all partnership and campaign activities are delivered within approved budgets while maximizing
partner value and business outcomes.
6. Negotiation & Agreement Finalization
Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with sponsors, partners, and clients.
Ensure all agreements are commercially viable, strategically aligned, and reflective of Swordfish's values
and objectives.
Coordinate with legal and finance teams to execute contracts and maintain compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate records of agreements, deliverables, commercial commitments, and reporting
requirements.
