Role Overview:
The Business HR will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning people strategy with organizational goals. The role focuses on talent management, employee engagement, performance development, and driving a high-performance culture within the real estate business vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Partnership & Strategy
•Collaborate with business heads to understand manpower requirements and align HR interventions with business goals.
•Support workforce planning and organizational structuring based on project and sales requirements.
•Drive HR analytics and provide insights for business decisions (attrition, productivity, cost per hire, etc.).
2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
•Coordinate with the TA team to fulfill critical hiring needs for sales, marketing, and project functions.
•Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new hires across sites and corporate functions.
•Work closely with business teams to maintain optimum headcount as per project pipeline.
3. Performance & Talent Management
•Facilitate goal setting, mid-year, and annual performance review processes.
•Identify high performers and potential successors for key roles.
•Support managers in performance coaching and capability enhancement.
4. Employee Engagement & Retention
•Design and execute engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
•Address employee grievances promptly and fairly.
•Conduct regular skip-level meetings and HR connect sessions.
5. Learning & Development
•Partner with business leaders to identify skill gaps and implement training programs.
•Drive behavioral and functional learning interventions tailored to the real estate business context.
6. HR Operations & Compliance
•Ensure timely completion of HR processes such as confirmation, appraisals, and exits.
•Maintain statutory and audit compliance for all employees (especially for project-based staff).
•Support payroll and attendance management in coordination with HR operations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
•Strong business acumen and understanding of real estate operations (sales, projects, marketing).
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•Ability to handle multi-location teams and diverse employee groups.
•Data-driven mindset and proficiency in HR analytics tools.
•Empathy, problem-solving attitude, and ability to influence leadership decisions.
Qualification:
•MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a recognized institute.
•Prior experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure industry preferred.
