Job Title: Senior Salesforce Business Analyst & Administrator
Experience: 5+ Years
Employment Type: Full-time C2H
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and analytical Salesforce Business Analyst & Administrator (5+ YOE) to bridge the gap between our business objectives and technical Salesforce execution. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery: leading requirement gathering discovery sessions with stakeholders, mapping business processes, writing agile user stories, and executing advanced declarative configuration (with a heavy focus on complex Salesforce Flows). The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver who ensures scalable, standard-first Salesforce architecture while championing user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Discovery: Lead workshops with cross-functional business teams (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.) to uncover true business problems, map "As-Is" vs. "To-Be" processes, and translate them into actionable functional requirements.
Agile Product Backlog Management: Author technical, well-structured user stories complete with clear acceptance criteria. Manage and prioritize the Salesforce sprint backlog.
Advanced Salesforce Administration: Build, optimize, and maintain complex declarative solutions using Salesforce Flows (Record-Triggered, Screen, Schedule-Triggered), Validation Rules, and dynamic UI features.
Data Security & Architecture: Manage user access via modern security frameworks (Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, and Muting Rules, moving away from profile-based permissions). Establish scalable object relationships.
Data Strategy & Quality: Lead data migration, cleansing, and mapping initiatives from legacy systems using Data Loader. Prevent data skew and ensure duplicate management rules are active.
UAT & Change Management: Design comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, facilitate testing sessions with business users, track defects, and manage release deployments across Sandboxes using DevOps Center or Git-based pipelines.
Analytics & Reporting: Build advanced, actionable reports and dynamic dashboards to provide leadership with real-time business visibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst and/or Salesforce Administrator.
Automation Expertise: Deep, advanced proficiency in Salesforce Flow Builder (understanding bulkification, fault paths, and transaction governance).
Agile Delivery: Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Communication: Exceptional communication and stake-holder management skills, with the ability to confidently push back on custom development when a declarative, standard Salesforce feature is available.
Certifications (Highly Preferred):
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder
