Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Kotlin to develop and maintain secure, high-performance mobile applications for a Banking domain project. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Android application development, REST API integration, and modern Android architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications.
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile solutions using Java and Kotlin.
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Work with MVVM architecture and Android Jetpack components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
Must Have Skills
4+ years of Android application development experience.
Strong hands-on experience in Java.
Strong hands-on experience in Kotlin.
Good understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android application lifecycle.
Experience with MVVM Architecture and Android Jetpack components.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON integration.
Experience with Git version control.
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Good to Have Skills
Experience with Jetpack Compose.
Knowledge of Room Database, Coroutines, and Flow.
Experience with Firebase (Push Notifications, Analytics, Crashlytics).
Exposure to CI/CD for Android applications.
Prior experience in Banking/BFSI domain projects.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
