This is a critical leadership role for a seasoned operations leader ready to own all non-production plant functions and drive business continuity. As the single-point owner, you will strategically lead and oversee plant administration, security, commercial, stores, accounts, civil projects, liaisoning, and logistics, ensuring seamless support for manufacturing operations, optimizing costs, developing infrastructure, and managing critical stakeholder relationships.
Lead and manage Plant Administration, Security, Commercial, Stores, Accounts, Civil Projects, Liaisoning, and Plant Logistics functions.
Ensure seamless support for manufacturing operations through effective coordination of all enabling functions.
Drive operational excellence, governance, and process improvements across all support functions.
Oversee plant accounting, financial controls, statutory compliance, audits, and budget monitoring.
Manage commercial operations, vendor payments, contract administration, and procurement support.
Implement and monitor cost control initiatives to drive efficiency improvements.
Maintain optimum inventory levels of raw materials, spares, consumables, and operational supplies.
Strengthen inventory controls, material accounting, reconciliation, and stock verification processes.
Minimize inventory carrying costs while ensuring uninterrupted plant operations.
Manage inbound and outbound logistics for raw materials, fuel, clinker, cement, and other plant requirements.
Optimize transportation costs, fleet utilization, dispatch planning, and logistics service levels.
Coordinate with logistics partners and internal stakeholders for timely material movement.
Ensure robust plant security systems, asset protection, access control, and comprehensive risk management.
Drive compliance with all statutory, labor, environmental, and safety regulations.
Liaise effectively with government authorities, local administration, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
Oversee plant infrastructure development, maintenance, and civil projects, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence.
Manage township, guest house, utilities, and administrative facilities where applicable.
Cultivate strong relationships with government departments, local authorities, industry bodies, and community stakeholders.
Support senior management in resolving external issues impacting plant operations.
Coordinate actively with corporate and plant leadership teams to achieve overarching business objectives.
Graduate Engineer, MBA, CA, ICWA, or an equivalent qualification from a reputed institution.
18–25 years of proven leadership experience in cement, mining, metals, power, chemicals, or large process manufacturing industries.
Extensive, hands-on experience managing multiple plant support functions: Administration, Commercial, Stores, Logistics, Accounts, Civil Projects, Security, and Liaisoning.
Demonstrated strong understanding of statutory compliance, robust governance frameworks, and complex stakeholder management.
