Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in the capacity of Internal Audit & Risk Management Associate/ Manager. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving the organization’s audit framework and risk management agenda, ensuring a robust control environment, regulatory compliance, and process excellence across functions.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and execute end-to-end internal audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up, ensuring alignment with internal standards.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to mitigate financial, operational, compliance and other risks. .
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the organization’s risk management framework.
Identify, assess, and monitor risks across business units, integrating insights from past incidents, near-misses, and operational events where applicable.
Prepare comprehensive audit and risk reports, highlighting key observations, root causes, and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, track, and monitor corrective action plans in response to audit findings and process improvement opportunities.
Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements, risk management trends, and best practices to ensure continuous alignment with organizational objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
4–9 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk, or compliance; experience in a Big 4 firm or a manufacturing company is strongly preferred.
Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or similar professional qualification is required.
Deep understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and financial statement analysis.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or with minimal supervision to conduct audit fieldwork within defined timelines. Ability to communicate progress effectively and escalate issues as necessary.
Proactive mindset with focus on process improvement, risk mitigation, and value creation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with audit management tools and data analytics is a plus.
Willingness to travel to factory and other locations across India (approximately 10% of time).
