Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer – AWS
Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh – On-site
Company: Solutionara Private Limited
Experience: 5–8 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Overview
Solutionara is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer – AWS to design, build, automate, migrate, secure, and operate enterprise-grade AWS cloud environments.
This is a hands-on engineering role with strong ownership expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for building AWS infrastructure from the ground up, implementing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation, supporting application and data migration to AWS, and ensuring cloud environments are secure, resilient, observable, scalable, and production-ready.
The role requires someone who can independently own complex Cloud/DevOps workstreams while collaborating with Solution Architects, application teams, data engineers, security teams, and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, configure, and maintain production-grade AWS infrastructure.
Build AWS environments from the ground up using services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and related services.
Design secure network architectures including subnets, routing, security groups, NACLs, NAT gateways, VPC endpoints, VPNs, and connectivity patterns.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
Build reusable Terraform modules and automate infrastructure provisioning across development, test, staging, and production environments.
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or equivalent platforms.
Implement automated build, test, security scanning, deployment, rollback, and release processes.
Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
Support migration of applications, infrastructure, databases, and data from on-premises or other environments to AWS.
Participate in migration discovery, dependency assessment, migration planning, cutover, validation, and post-migration stabilization.
Implement AWS security best practices including IAM policies and roles, least-privilege access, encryption, secrets management, logging, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch and relevant enterprise monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, network, performance, and production issues.
Design for high availability, scalability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Identify cloud cost optimization opportunities and support effective AWS resource utilization.
Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain architecture diagrams, infrastructure documentation, runbooks, deployment procedures, and operational documentation.
Participate in technical design reviews and proactively identify infrastructure, security, migration, and operational risks.
Mentor junior Cloud/DevOps engineers and contribute to engineering standards and reusable automation.
Take ownership of assigned workstreams from technical design through implementation, production deployment, and stabilization.
