Key Responsibilities
Building & Infrastructure Management
Manage day-to-day operations of the office building and workplace infrastructure.
Monitor electrical, plumbing, civil, HVAC, lighting, water supply, and other basic facility requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of the building and identify maintenance issues proactively.
Coordinate with landlords/building management for common-area and infrastructure-related issues.
Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns and maintenance complaints.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and service schedules.
Monitor office furniture, fixtures, equipment, and other infrastructure assets.
Housekeeping Management
Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily responsibilities.
Monitor cleanliness of workstations, meeting rooms, washrooms, pantry, common areas, and other facilities.
Ensure housekeeping staff follow required cleaning schedules and hygiene standards.
Track attendance and performance of housekeeping personnel.
Coordinate with housekeeping vendors/agencies when applicable.
Ensure adequate availability of cleaning materials and consumables.
Vendor & Service Provider Management
Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, AC technicians, pest-control agencies, housekeeping agencies, security, and other service providers.
Raise and track service requests until closure.
Verify the quality of completed work before closing maintenance requests.
Maintain vendor/service records and support quotation and purchase processes.
Escalate recurring or critical infrastructure issues to management.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure basic workplace safety and emergency preparedness.
Monitor fire extinguishers, fire alarms, emergency exits, and other safety infrastructure.
Coordinate periodic fire safety, pest control, electrical, and other required inspections.
Immediately report safety hazards, damages, or major infrastructure risks to management.
Support emergency situations such as power failure, water leakage, electrical issues, or other facility-related incidents.
Office Support
Ensure meeting rooms, pantry, reception, and common facilities are operational.
Monitor drinking water, pantry supplies, housekeeping consumables, and other office requirements.
Support office events, employee requirements, seating arrangements, and internal movements.
Maintain facility-related registers, checklists, and records.
Assist the Administration/HR team with day-to-day employee facility requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate/Diploma in Facilities Management, Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
3–6 years of experience in facility/building maintenance or office administration.
Experience managing facilities of a small or medium-sized corporate office is preferred.
Good knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil and general building maintenance.
Experience supervising housekeeping staff and external vendors.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to handle maintenance emergencies and resolve issues quickly.
Basic knowledge of workplace safety and fire-safety requirements.
Good documentation and follow-up skills.
Should be hands-on, proactive, responsible, and comfortable working with technicians and housekeeping personnel.
