Role Overview
OpsTree Global is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive complex technology programs across DevOps, Data, Cloud, and AI.
The ideal candidate should have strong program/project management skills along with a good technical understanding of at least one of these areas. The TPM will work closely with engineering, architecture, product, delivery, and business teams to drive programs from planning through successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs across DevOps, Data, AI, Cloud, or related technology areas.
Define program objectives, scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and success criteria.
Work closely with Engineering, Architects, Product, DevOps, Data, and AI teams to ensure effective program execution.
Drive program planning, tracking, risk management, dependency management, and governance.
Translate business requirements into actionable technical plans and ensure alignment between business and technology teams.
Manage multiple workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
Identify technical and operational risks and proactively drive mitigation and resolution.
Conduct regular program reviews and provide clear status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog reviews, retrospectives, and program-level reviews where required.
Manage scope changes, priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations throughout the program lifecycle.
Ensure effective communication across engineering, product, architecture, business, and customer teams.
Drive continuous improvement in program execution, delivery processes, and engineering practices.
Technical Exposure
The candidate should have a strong understanding of at least one or more of the following areas:
DevOps: CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, cloud platforms, automation, observability, and DevSecOps.
Data: Data engineering, data platforms, data pipelines, analytics, data architecture, and cloud data services.
AI/ML: AI/ML platforms, GenAI, LLMs, AI applications, data/AI pipelines, or enterprise AI solutions.
Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
The role does not require hands-on development but requires the ability to understand technical discussions, identify dependencies and risks, and effectively work with engineering and architecture teams.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, Project Management, or Technical Delivery.
Strong experience managing large-scale or complex technology programs.
Good understanding of DevOps, Data, AI, Cloud, or related technology domains.
Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Proven experience in stakeholder management, risk management, dependency tracking, and program governance.
Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with senior technical and business stakeholders.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Ability to manage multiple teams/workstreams and deliver programs within agreed timelines and objectives.
Good to Have
PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or similar certification.
Experience working in Cloud, DevOps, Data Engineering, AI/ML, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps environments.
Experience working with enterprise customers and distributed technical teams.
Strong understanding of modern software architecture and cloud-native technologies.
