Senior SRE

Key Responsibilities
 Design, implement, and optimize highly available cloud infrastructure for enterprise SaaS and PaaS platforms.
 Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational workflows.
 Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and automation tools.
 Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and production readiness.
 Participate in architecture reviews to improve resiliency, security, and infrastructure standards.
 Lead infrastructure and DevSecOps initiatives from Proof of Concept through production deployment.
 Manage Kubernetes-based container platforms (GKE/EKS/AKS) and cloud-native environments.
 Implement observability solutions using ELK, Grafana, monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
 Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, improve automation, and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering roles.
 Strong experience deploying and managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, preferably on GCP.
 Hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation.  Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks including Jenkins and Groovy.
 Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting experience.
 Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Shell, Python, Perl, JavaScript, or Golang.
 Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters including GKE, EKS, and AKS.
 Strong understanding of public cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure, with deep expertise in GCP.
 Experience with Docker containers and cloud-native technologies. Experience with databases and distributed platforms such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.  Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools including ELK, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Experience with WAF, CloudArmor, NGINX, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, and REST-based services.  Strong analytical, troubleshooting, automation, DevSecOps, reliability engineering, collaboration, and operational excellence skills in large-scale SaaS environments.  Knowledge of AI/ML-driven operations (AIOps), intelligent alerting, predictive monitoring, anomaly detection, automation using AI tools, and leveraging GenAI solutions to improve operational efficiency, incident response, and infrastructure reliability.
