Technical Project Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with 6–7 years of experience in managing IT, DevOps, and Cloud projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely execution, effective stakeholder management, and seamless coordination between technical teams and clients.

The role requires strong project management expertise with a good understanding of Cloud, DevOps, and Infrastructure technologies. While the role is not hands-on technically, the candidate should be capable of understanding technical discussions, managing delivery teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Management

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT, Cloud, and DevOps projects.

• Lead cross-functional project teams comprising DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and project plans.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

• Track project progress, identify risks, and drive mitigation plans proactively.

• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and conduct regular governance meetings.

• Coordinate with internal leadership and clients to ensure successful project execution.
  

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct project kickoff meetings, sprint reviews, steering committee meetings, and status updates.

• Manage client expectations and handle project escalations effectively.

• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Engineering, and Leadership teams.

• Review Statements of Work (SOWs), project deliverables, and acceptance criteria.

Technical Project Oversight (Non Hands-on)

• Possess a strong understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.

• Understand Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps workflows.

• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure adherence to architecture, security, and deployment standards.

• Participate in technical discussions to understand dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.

• Validate technical deliverables from a project management perspective.
  

Project Governance

• Maintain project plans, RAID logs, resource allocation, and documentation.

• Monitor project budgets, revenue, margins, and resource utilization.

• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies and organizational PMO processes.

• Conduct project retrospectives and drive continuous process improvements.
  

Pre-Sales Support

• Participate in requirement gathering sessions.

• Support effort estimation and project planning for new opportunities.

• Work with Solution Architects and Engineering teams during proposal preparation.

• Assist in project transition and customer onboarding.
