We are seeking a Mid-Level QA Engineer to own the reliability, security, and performance of our core infrastructure. In this onsite role, you will systematically stress-test systems, validate complex data pipelines, and audit configurations before code hits production. You will work directly alongside development and infrastructure teams to eliminate performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities early in the release lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Design, execute, and analyze performance, load, and stress tests to identify system throughput limits and latency issues.
Perform security testing and vulnerability assessments to verify access controls and data protection measures.
Validate backend data pipelines, schema migrations, and database queries for accuracy and integrity.
Conduct configuration and infrastructure testing to ensure consistency across deployment environments.
Execute focused smoke tests on build candidates to deliver immediate feedback to engineering.
Isolate, document, and track performance regressions and system defects to resolution.
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on QA experience with a focus on performance, security, and infrastructure testing.
Proficiency with load testing
Practical knowledge of security testing principles, OWASP top 10, and API security auditing.
Strong SQL skills for backend data validation and verification.
Experience verifying environment configurations, network setups, and server infrastructure.
Ability to work full-time onsite at our primary facility.
