Responsibilities:
Information Technology • Design, write, and execute detailed manual test cases, test plans, and scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, UAT, and acceptance testing for web and mobile applications. • Conduct Web Services/API testing using Postman or Swagger. • Lead/contribute in design, creation, and adoption of automation frameworks, guiding the automation team on best practices(preferred lang Java, python). • Conduct web automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, or equivalent. • Perform database validations using SQL queries and scripts. • Execute performance testing to assess system behaviour under load conditions. • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test strategies, risk assessments, and test result reports. • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the application functions meet business needs. • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives. • Review system requirements and technical design documents for testability and completeness. • Mentor junior QA team members and review their deliverables to ensure high-quality output aligned with established testing frameworks. • Lead QA-related communication with business owners and stakeholders, providing test updates, risk analysis, and timelines. Qualifications: Required • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual software testing, with additional hands-on automation experience. • Strong proficiency in test scenario design, test case creation, and test execution. • Expertise in API testing, SQL/database validation, and performance testing tools. • Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA and TestRail. • Solid experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
