Develop complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, and stored procedures.
Define database design standards, coding standards, and development best practices.
Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and execution-plan analysis.
Design highly scalable and reliable database solutions for high-volume transactional systems.
Lead database modernization and migration initiatives where required.
Design data models, schemas, relationships, constraints, and database objects.
Analyze and optimize AWR/ASH reports, execution plans, wait events, and database performance metrics.
Work with DBAs on database availability, backup/recovery, replication, and disaster-recovery requirements.
Identify database bottlenecks and provide architecture-level recommendations.
Integrate Oracle databases with enterprise applications, APIs, middleware, and third-party systems.
Ensure database solutions comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Review technical designs and PL/SQL code developed by engineering teams.
Establish reusable frameworks, libraries, and database components.
Mentor senior developers and provide technical leadership to the database development team.
Participate in architecture reviews, solution design, estimation, and technical documentation.
Support production issues and provide root-cause analysis for critical database problems.
