Forward-Deployed Engineer – AI & Automation

Experience: 6–10 years

We are looking for a hands-on engineer who can work with business and technology teams to identify opportunities and deliver production-ready AI and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise valuable AI and automation use cases.

• Design and build AI agents, RAG solutions and automated workflows.

• Integrate solutions with enterprise applications, APIs and platforms.

• Convert prototypes into secure, scalable and observable production solutions.

• Evaluate solution accuracy, reliability and measurable business value.

• Work with Architecture, InfoSec, DevSecOps and application teams.

• Transition solutions to the appropriate long-term owning teams.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, tool calling and AI evaluation.

• Strong software-engineering foundation in Java, Node.js or Python.

• Experience with APIs, databases, cloud, workflow automation and enterprise integration.

• Ability to make practical solution-architecture decisions.

• Understanding of security, testing, CI/CD, monitoring and production support.

• Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.

• BFSI or regulated-enterprise experience preferred.

Ideal profile: An applied-AI and automation engineer with strong software-engineering fundamentals who can take an ambiguous business problem from discovery through production.
