Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications using Erlang.
Build scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant backend systems.
Develop concurrent and distributed applications using Erlang/OTP.
Work with OTP behaviours, including GenServer, Supervisor, and Application.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
Work with databases, messaging systems, and distributed architectures.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and deployment activities.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Erlang programming.
Good understanding of Erlang/OTP and OTP behaviours.
Experience with concurrent and distributed systems.
Knowledge of fault-tolerant and highly available application design.
Experience with REST APIs and backend service development.
Understanding of database concepts and data modelling.
Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Git, Linux, and software development best practices.
Good to Have
Experience with RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.
Knowledge of Elixir or functional programming.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of microservices architecture.
Experience building real-time communication or telecom applications.
Educational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Candidate Profile
