Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS and GCP cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and production support. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in building scalable infrastructure, automating deployments, maintaining high availability systems, and implementing cloud security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP environments.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and reliable software delivery.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
Monitor application and infrastructure health using monitoring and logging tools and proactively resolve issues.
Manage Linux servers, system performance, patching, and administration activities.
Implement GitOps practices and maintain version control repositories using Git.
Configure and manage networking components, including DNS, Load Balancers, VPCs, and security groups.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and production support activities to ensure platform reliability.
Implement cloud security controls, IAM policies, and infrastructure security best practices.
Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and automation scripts.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP Cloud Services.
Excellent knowledge of Linux Administration and system troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of Networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, routing, and firewalls.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) in production environments.
Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
Strong knowledge of Git and Version Control Systems.
Experience with Monitoring & Logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, or similar.
Proficiency in Shell Scripting and/or Python scripting for automation tasks.
Understanding of Security, IAM, secrets management, and cloud security best practices.
Basic understanding of Databases (SQL/NoSQL) and database administration concepts.
Knowledge of Artifact Management tools such as Nexus, JFrog Artifactory, or Harbor.
Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
Strong expertise in Troubleshooting, Incident Management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in production support and managing highly available environments.
Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
Experience with infrastructure automation and self-healing systems.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, CKA, or Terraform Associate will be an added advantage.
