Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, and containerization, along with exposure to DevSecOps and cloud security practices.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, and preferably EKS.
Strong experience with Kubernetes, including deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, RBAC, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or Datadog.
Good understanding of Linux and scripting using Bash and/or Python.
Strong knowledge of Git and version control.
Security / DevSecOps Exposure
Exposure to DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with or knowledge of security tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk, Checkov, or similar tools.
Good understanding of AWS IAM, security groups, encryption, secrets management, and access control.
Knowledge of container and Kubernetes security best practices.
Exposure to vulnerability management and security remediation.
Understanding of RBAC and least-privilege access.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure on AWS.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications on Kubernetes/EKS.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
Implement and support security practices across infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor infrastructure and applications and troubleshoot production issues.
Work closely with development and security teams to improve automation, reliability, and security.
