We are looking for a Senior Shift Engineer to direct 24/7 technical operations across our mission-critical physical infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the shift engineering team, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical failures outside routine maintenance schedules, maintain uninterrupted facility uptime, and strictly enforce industrial safety protocols on site.
Lead shift operations, equipment inspections, and formal shift handovers with incoming supervisors and the Assistant Facilities Manager (AFM).
Investigate and resolve unscheduled plant failures; escalate long-lead spare requirements and complex outages directly to the APM.
Acknowledge, monitor, and remediate all alarms triggered by the Building Management System (BMS) and drive help desk tickets to timely closure.
Supervise technicians and operators on equipment room rounds, tool mustering, log sheet accuracy, and CMMS data entry.
Execute site-wide energy conservation practices by optimizing the real-time operation of electrical and mechanical loads.
Enforce statutory safety standards, issue work permits (hot work, height, confined space), run shift toolbox talks, and supervise third-party vendor access.
Generate end-of-shift MIS reports detailing incident logs, plant runtime, fuel levels, and staff attendance.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of onsite engineering operations experience within critical commercial high-rises, industrial plants, or data center environments.
Demonstrated diagnostic expertise across chillers, HVAC, transformers, diesel generators, UPS systems, and fire protection infrastructure.
Working knowledge of BMS monitoring, CAFM/CMMS maintenance platforms, and standard operational log sheets.
Proven leadership in running shift teams, managing tool inventories, and conducting structured shift handovers.
Thorough command of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), permit-to-work systems, and industrial plant safety standards.
Certified Energy Auditor or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential.
Formal certifications in occupational health and safety (OSHA, NEBOSH, or local equivalent).
Experience managing mission-critical maintenance within tier-rated uptime facilities.
Competitive base salary with designated shift allowances and performance incentives.
Comprehensive medical, life, and accident insurance coverage for you and your dependents.
Direct technical ownership of top-tier, modern physical plant assets.
Clear promotional pathways into Assistant Facilities Manager (AFM) and Operations Lead roles.
