Key Responsibilities Contract Management & Review • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), NDAs, and related commercial contracts. • Review and vet employment-related contracts, including offer letters, appointment letters, employment agreements, amendments, and separation documents. • Review legal procurement contracts such as vendor agreements, purchase agreements, service contracts, and consultancy agreements. • Draft and review real estate/property-related documents such as lease agreements, leave & license agreements, and basic sale/transfer documents. • Assist in property due diligence, including review of title documents and land records. • Identify legal risks, provide practical solutions, and suggest revisions aligned with business objectives. Legal Advisory & Compliance • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements, including Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) where applicable. • Provide legal support to HR, Procurement, Finance, and Business teams on contractual and compliance-related matters, including property-related queries. • Assist in developing and standardizing contract templates and internal legal processes. Stakeholder Coordination • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand contract requirements and timelines. • Liaise with external legal counsel, vendors, partners, and property consultants/developers as required. • Support negotiations and closure of contracts within defined timelines. Documentation & Record Management • Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, approvals, and propertyrelated documents. • Track contract lifecycles, renewals, and expiries. • Support audits and internal reviews related to legal documentation. Required Skills & Competencies • Strong knowledge of contract law, employment law basics, and commercial agreements, with working knowledge of real estate/property laws. • Hands-on experience with MSAs, employment contracts, procurement/vendor agreements, and basic real estate documentation/due diligence. • Excellent drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify legal and commercial risks. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously. Educational Qualification • LL.B from a recognized university. • Enrollment with State Bar Council is preferred. Preferred Attributes • Prior experience in a corporate legal department or law firm handling commercial contracts, with exposure to real estate/property matters. • Exposure to IT/ITES and/or real estate sector is an added advantage
