Prepare and monitor ceramic glazes, engobes, and glaze additives as per production requirements.
Operate and supervise ball mills, agitators, sieves, storage tanks, and pumping systems used in glaze preparation.
Monitor glaze parameters such as density, viscosity, residue, specific gravity, and particle size.
Ensure timely availability of glaze materials for production without interruption.
Maintain accurate batch formulations and ensure adherence to standard recipes.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve glaze-related issues.
Identify and troubleshoot glaze defects such as pinholes, crawling, peeling, color variation, and surface imperfections.
Monitor raw material consumption and minimize wastage.
Maintain production records, batch reports, and inventory of glaze raw materials.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, TPM, 5S, and all safety standards.
Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and productivity.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Ceramic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
0–5 years of experience in Glaze Preparation, GMPD, or Ceramic Tile Manufacturing.
Freshers with Ceramic Engineering backgrounds may also apply.
Knowledge of glaze chemistry and ceramic manufacturing processes is preferred.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
