We are seeking a hands-on QA Lead with 10+ years of engineering experience to establish our test automation strategy, modernize our test stack, and drive product quality across enterprise web applications. In this onsite role, you will architect Playwright and Selenium frameworks, integrate automated testing into our BuildPiper CI/CD workflows, and mentor a technical QA team to accelerate release velocity and eliminate escaped defects.
Define and execute enterprise QA strategy, test automation frameworks, and release quality standards across multiple projects.
Architect, build, and maintain scalable UI, API, regression, and end-to-end test suites using Playwright and Selenium.
Lead the technical modernization and migration of existing Selenium suites to Playwright.
Configure and optimize automated quality gates, containerized execution, and deployment workflows within BuildPiper and CI/CD pipelines.
Establish release dashboards to monitor test execution, defect trends, and automation coverage.
Mentor QA engineers through code reviews, framework design guidance, and automation best practices.
Perform root-cause analysis on test and production incidents while collaborating with developers to ensure system testability early in the SDLC.
10+ years of software quality engineering experience with a proven track record in technical QA leadership.
Deep hands-on expertise with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver, including designing frameworks from scratch (Page Object Model, data-driven execution).
Strong programming capability in Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Python with expertise in design patterns and clean code principles.
Hands-on experience with BuildPiper and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
Proficiency in REST API testing (REST Assured, Postman) and database validation using SQL.
Working knowledge of Docker, containerized test environments, and parallel test execution.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven success architecting Playwright frameworks with TypeScript in enterprise environments.
Experience managing test infrastructure within cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
Exposure to performance or security testing tools and methodologies.
ISTQB or equivalent professional QA certification.
