About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and observability. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes (K8s), and the ELK/Observability stack, along with experience in automating deployments, managing production environments, and ensuring platform reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Manage and administer Kubernetes (K8s) clusters for containerized applications.
Deploy, configure, and optimize ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and other observability tools for centralized logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
Monitor application and infrastructure health, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless application deployments.
Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
Configure networking components, load balancers, SSL certificates, and cloud security policies.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, CloudWatch, Route 53, and Auto Scaling.
Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes (K8s), including cluster management, deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
Experience with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or similar observability platforms for logging and monitoring.
Good understanding of containerization using Docker.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and incident management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, or Datadog.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
Familiarity with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
