Investigate and triage first-level technical issues across application, database, and infrastructure layers
Analyse application logs, error traces, and system metrics to identify patterns
Escalate unresolved issues to the Lead with clear summaries of what was investigated and what was found
Support performance and load testing execution — data collection and basic analysis
Customer Environment & Integration
Work with integration teams to test inbound and outbound data pipelines
Validate API connectivity and basic integration flows between the SaaS platform and customer systems
Support batch job testing and scheduler configuration under direction
Documentation & Knowledge Building
Maintain accurate notes and documentation for every implementation task undertaken
Contribute to runbooks, deployment checklists, and post-implementation reports
Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and team retrospectives
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills
2–5 years of hands-on experience in a technical role (software engineering, support engineering, or DevOps)
Basic working knowledge of cloud environments — AWS, Azure, or GCP (compute, storage, networking concepts)
Familiarity with Linux command line — log navigation, file system, process management, SSH
Understanding of SQL and relational databases — ability to run queries, read execution plans
Exposure to Java-based application stacks — reading logs, understanding stack traces
Basic understanding of REST APIs and integration concepts
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
Exposure to containerisation — Docker basics
Soft Skills & Mindset
Eager to learn — treats every customer engagement as a development opportunity
Detail-oriented — follows runbooks carefully, does not skip steps
Communicates clearly when stuck — asks for help early, does not sit on blockers
Takes ownership of tasks assigned — delivers on time, flags delays proactively
Comfortable in structured, process-driven delivery environments
