Key Roles & Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) processes end-to-end
Manage Inventory Management (IM) activities including stock movements, stock types, and inventory accuracy within the warehouse structure
Handle outbound logistics processes originating from SD — sales order to delivery to goods issue flow
Ensure smooth integration between WM/EWM and MM (inbound/procurement-driven putaway) and PP (production staging and finished goods receipt)
Troubleshoot and support interface/data exchange issues involving IDocs (e.g., with RF devices, external WMS, or third-party logistics systems)
Participate in warehouse structure design — storage bins, storage types, transfer orders, putaway/picking strategies
Support configuration, testing, defect resolution, and possibly rollout/hypercare activities depending on project phase
Collaborate with cross-functional SD, MM, and PP teams to resolve integration issues and ensure smooth logistics execution
Mandatory Skills
SAP WM (Warehouse Management) — hands-on configuration and support experience
SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) — hands-on configuration and support experience
Inventory Management (IM) — stock movements, stock types, physical inventory
Strong understanding of SD outbound processes (sales order → delivery → picking/packing → goods issue)
WM/EWM integration knowledge with MM and PP modules
Working knowledge of IDoc (interface troubleshooting/monitoring)
4–6 years of relevant SAP WM/EWM experience
Preferred Skills
LE (Logistics Execution) — shipping, transportation, and delivery processing knowledge
Experience with S/4HANA Embedded EWM (in addition to standalone/ECC-EWM)
Exposure to warehouse rollout or multi-site implementation projects
ABAP debugging skills (useful for troubleshooting standard SAP processes)
Experience with RF/mobile device integration in warehouse operations
Prior experience in end-to-end implementation lifecycle (requirement gathering through hypercare)
