Oversee day-to-day ledger maintenance, trial balance finalization, and monthly/quarterly closing of accounts.
Prepare statutory financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow) in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP).
Manage loan portfolio accounting, including interest accruals, non-performing asset (NPA) provisioning, and ECL (Expected Credit Loss) calculations.
Ensure timely preparation and filing of regulatory returns (e.g., NBS returns, CRAR reporting, Liquidity Coverage Ratio).
Monitor capital adequacy ratios (CRAR), leverage limits, and statutory liquidity requirements.
Track regulatory updates affecting NBFC operations and assist in implementing compliance workflows.
Support the ALM Committee (ALCO) by preparing structural liquidity statements, interest rate sensitivity analysis, and gap reports.
Assist in cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and daily treasury operations.
Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and rating agencies for debt fund raising and credit facility renewals.
Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and regulatory audits.
Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations (GST, TDS, Corporate Tax returns).
Maintain robust internal financial controls (IFCoR) and ensure adherence to SOPs across financial processes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA in Finance / Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 2 years in an NBFC, Bank, or Financial Institution.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of NBFC regulatory frameworks (RBI/Local Central Bank guidelines).
Strong grasp of loan accounting, NPA classification, and ECL provisioning.
Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel (Advanced), and ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or core lending software like FinnOne).
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, analytical mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication skills.
