Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive business requirements, process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and technology transformation initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating complex business needs into clear functional requirements, scalable solutions, and measurable business outcomes.
The role requires strong expertise in business analysis, requirements management, stakeholder engagement, process modeling, data analysis, and solution evaluation. The successful candidate will work closely with product owners, project managers, architects, developers, data teams, and senior business leaders to ensure that technology solutions effectively address business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead business analysis activities across complex, enterprise-level projects and transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, processes, and requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement-gathering exercises.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process specifications.
• Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Define and document future-state processes, business workflows, and solution requirements.
• Develop business process models, workflow diagrams, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Work closely with product owners, project managers, developers, QA teams, architects, and data teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Identify business rules, dependencies, assumptions, risks, constraints, and impacts associated with proposed solutions.
• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, gaps, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Define KPIs, metrics, reporting requirements, and success criteria in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Support solution design and evaluate proposed solutions against business requirements and expected outcomes.
• Facilitate requirement prioritization and support backlog management in Agile delivery environments.
• Participate in solution walkthroughs, sprint planning, backlog refinement, UAT planning, and release activities.
• Develop UAT scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria and support business users during validation.
• Identify gaps between existing capabilities and desired business outcomes and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support change management, business readiness, training, and adoption activities for technology initiatives.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, business cases, requirement documents, and project status updates.
• Mentor junior business analysts and promote business analysis best practices across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8–10 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, systems analysis, or a related role.
• Strong experience working on enterprise-scale business transformation and technology initiatives.
• Excellent understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirement engineering, and solution lifecycle management.
• Strong expertise in gathering, analyzing, documenting, validating, and managing business requirements.
• Hands-on experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business problems into actionable requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams.
• Experience with process modeling techniques such as BPMN, flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and business process mapping.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar requirements and project management platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, or equivalent business analysis tools.
• Good understanding of databases, SQL, data structures, APIs, integrations, and enterprise application concepts.
• Ability to interpret data, develop meaningful insights, and support data-driven business decisions.
• Excellent documentation, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deliverables.

• Lead end-to-end requirements analysis from discovery through implementation and business validation.
• Conduct gap analysis, root-cause analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility assessments.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements for enterprise applications and technology solutions.
• Create detailed process maps, workflows, business rules, use cases, and solution specifications.
• Facilitate requirement workshops and drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
• Identify opportunities for business process re-engineering, automation, and digital transformation.
• Establish traceability between business objectives, requirements, solution components, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, testable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Manage requirement changes, dependencies, scope impacts, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Data & Analytics Capabilities
• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Define reporting, dashboard, KPI, and analytics requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Work with data analysts, data engineers, and BI teams to translate business requirements into analytics solutions.
• Develop data-driven business cases and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of SQL and relational databases for data validation and analysis.
• Understand data flows, source systems, data mappings, transformations, and integration requirements.
• Support data quality, reconciliation, migration, and validation activities.
• Translate analytical findings into clear business insights and executive-level recommendations.
Product & Solution Capabilities
• Partner with product owners and business leaders to define product vision, objectives, features, and priorities.
• Translate business needs into actionable epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate proposed technology solutions based on business value, usability, scalability, and feasibility.
• Support product discovery, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and feature definition.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure solutions provide effective and user-friendly experiences.
• Participate in solution demonstrations, reviews, UAT, and business sign-off activities.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on user feedback, analytics, and business performance.
AI & Digital Transformation Capabilities
• Support AI, automation, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives by identifying relevant business use cases.
• Collaborate with data science, AI, engineering, and technology teams to define business requirements for AI-powered solutions.
• Identify opportunities where AI and intelligent automation can improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and decision-making.
• Define business requirements for Generative AI, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and decision-support solutions.
• Understand data, security, privacy, governance, and compliance considerations associated with AI solutions.
• Evaluate AI-driven solutions based on business value, accuracy, usability, risk, and adoption requirements.
• Support business adoption and change management for emerging technologies.
Agile & Delivery Capabilities
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Developers, QA, Architects, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain a prioritized and well-defined requirements backlog.
• Support estimation, release planning, dependency management, and delivery tracking.
• Define clear acceptance criteria and collaborate with QA teams to ensure requirements are appropriately validated.
• Support UAT execution, defect triage, business sign-off, and production readiness activities.
• Ensure effective communication between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, IIBA-AAC, CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience working with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Experience with cloud technologies and modern digital platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms.
• Experience working with APIs, microservices, integrations, and enterprise application architectures.
• Experience in data migration, system modernization, ERP/CRM transformation, or digital transformation programs.
• Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics initiatives.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, information security, governance, and regulatory compliance requirements.
