Job Title Department Technical Specialist - Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / BIM 360) - Contract Location Information Technology - embedded with PNCA Design Management / SBMS Programme Engagement Type Onsite Dubai Office Initial Duration Contract (Consultant / Contingent Worker) Reports To 6 months, extendable to 9 months or beyond based on delivery and programme needs Engagement Model Manager – IT – Digital & CX Supplied via agency, with a named back-up resource guaranteed for continuity About the Role Sobha is delivering the Sobha Business Management System (SBMS) - an integrated operations platform that unifies design, approvals, budget, revenue, change and project planning into a single real-time Control Tower. An important part of this programme is the integration of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / BIM 360) with the SBMS Portal. Phase 1 delivered an interim, form-based stage-closure workflow inside the SBMS Portal. Phase 2 - the focus of this engagement - moves the design-management process to full automation: engineering flows are developed and configured in ACC / BIM 360 for every design stage, and the SBMS Portal fetches activity completion data directly from ACC via API and webhook events, so design stages close automatically with no manual entry. We are engaging an Technical Specialist in ACC / BIM 360 on a contract basis to lead and deliver this integration. The resource will be part of the IT team and act as the organisation's subject-matter expert on the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform, working hand-in-hand with the SBMS development team, the BIM/design disciplines and the PNCA Design Management function. This is a delivery-focused, hands-on role for a defined period. Because Phase 2 is a critical programme initiative, uninterrupted delivery is essential - the supplying agency must guarantee continuity of resourcing Scope : ACC / BIM 360 Integration The core requirement of this engagement is to develop, integrate and operationalise the ACC-to-SBMS automated stage-closure flow. Specifically: ● Uderstand, Plan and Develop discipline-specific engineering flows in ACC / BIM 360 for every design stage - DBR, CD, 50% SD, SL, 100% SD, DD and IFC. ● Configure and assign activities within ACC (BIM 360) per the project plan, and map each ACC activity to the corresponding SBMS milestone. ● Build the integration by which the SBMS Portal fetches completion status from ACC automatically via API / webhook events - eliminating manual form submission. ● Enable automatic stage closure in SBMS: when all activities for a stage are marked complete in ACC, a completion event triggers closure of the corresponding stage in the SBMS Portal. ● Support the DBR-approval trigger that activates the engineering-flow sequence in ACC. . ● Feed the SBMS Control Tower with live ACC data for KPI tracking - stage completion by discipline, approval TAT, revision/rework counts, milestone delivery and overdue submissions. Objectives of this Role ● Lead the technical delivery of the ACC / BIM 360 functional and technical set-up in ACC and the integration into the SBMS Portal, on time and to quality. ● Act as the IT team's resident expert on Autodesk Construction Cloud, advising on platform capabilities, configuration and best practice. ● Design and implement reliable, scalable API / webhook integrations between ACC and SBMS aligned with the existing architecture. ● Collaborate with the SBMS development team, BIM/design disciplines, PNCA Design Management and QA to translate the engineering flow into working automation. ● Ensure the automated stage-closure logic is accurate, auditable and free of manual intervention. ● Establish data feeds from ACC that power the SBMS Control Tower's real-time KPIs and dashboards. ● Ensure adherence to data security, governance and development standards throughout implementation. ● Document the solution and transfer knowledge to internal IT and BIM teams to ensure continuity beyond the engagement. Key Responsibilities ● Configure ACC / BIM 360 - projects, folders, document management, permission and role structures, and account-level administration as required. ● Develop and configure engineering / workflow flows in ACC for each of the seven design stages, mapping deliverables and checklists per discipline (Architecture, Structural, MEP, Landscape, Interior Design). ● Build and maintain integrations between ACC and the SBMS Portal using the Autodesk Platform Services (Forge) APIs, ACC / BIM 360 APIs, and webhooks. ● Implement event-driven automation so that activity-completion events in ACC trigger automatic milestone updates and stage closure in SBMS. ● Map ACC activities and transmittals to SBMS milestones and the approver matrix (PNCA discipline > Development). ● Develop and validate data feeds supplying the SBMS Control Tower KPIs (stage completion, approval TAT, revision/rework, milestone delivery, overdue submissions). ● Test integration touchpoints end-to-end; support UAT, defect resolution and go-live. ● Troubleshoot ACC platform, API, authentication and data-sync issues. ● Produce clear technical documentation covering configuration, integration design, API mappings and operational runbooks. ● Support knowledge transfer and up-skilling of internal IT and BIM teams to ensure post-engagement continuity. Requirements Essential ● 5–8 years of relevant experience, with proven hands-on expertise in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM 360 implementation, integrations, set-up, configuration and administration. ● Demonstrated experience building integrations with ACC / BIM 360 using Autodesk Platform Services (Forge) APIs, ACC APIs and webhooks. ● Strong integration and API skills - REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0 authentication, webhook/event-driven patterns, and middleware. ● Practical understanding of BIM 360 / ACC modules - Document Management, Design Collaboration, Build, and account administration. ● Experience delivering data feeds and integrations that support dashboards, KPIs and reporting. ● Working knowledge of the AEC design-stage lifecycle and multi-discipline deliverables (Architecture, Structural, MEP, Landscape, ID). ● Strong problem-solving skills and a delivery-oriented, hands-on mindset. ● Ability to work embedded within an IT team while engaging effectively with design and BIM stakeholders. ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Architecture or a related field. Preferred ● Autodesk certification(s) in ACC / BIM 360 or Autodesk Platform Services (Forge). ● Experience integrating ACC / BIM 360 with enterprise portals or bespoke web platforms. ● Exposure to real estate, construction or large-scale developer environments. ● Familiarity with BIM authoring tools (Revit), parametric modelling and complex-geometry workflows. ● Experience with control-tower / executive dashboarding and data-intelligence solutions. Important: Sobha cannot afford delivery gaps caused by resource unavailability. As a condition of this engagement, the supplying agency must guarantee continuity of resourcing throughout the contract and any extensions. Specifically, the agency shall - ● Provide the primary ACC Specialist as the day-to-day delivery resource for the engagement to be available on-site working to Sobha’s operating hours. ● Nominate a named back-up resource with equivalent, sufficient ACC / BIM 360 and integration expertise, kept familiar with the SBMS context and able to step in with minimal ramp-up. ● Ensure the back-up resource is briefed on the solution, has access to documentation, and maintains sufficient working knowledge of progress to preserve continuity. ● Guarantee that, should the primary resource become unavailable (leave, illness, attrition or otherwise), a qualified replacement is made available immediately, at no delay to programme milestones. ● Maintain up-to-date handover and knowledge-transfer documentation so that any transition between primary and back-up resources is seamless. Note: The agency's ability to demonstrate this continuity model - including the credentials of both the primary and back-up resources - will be a key evaluation criterion during sourcing. Duration & Engagement Terms ● Initial contract of 6-9 months, extendable beyond subject to performance and programme requirements. ● Full-time contract engagement based out of the Dubai office - embedded within the IT team. ● Rates to be quoted for the primary resource, with the back-up / continuity arrangement clearly described in the proposal. ● Sobha Realty reserves the right to interview and approve both the primary and nominated back-up resources prior to onboarding.
