Join Conversive (SMS Magic) as a Senior QA Analyst and take ownership of end-to-end quality engineering for our enterprise-grade messaging platform. In this onsite role, you will design robust automation frameworks, lead API and UI testing, and pioneer AI-driven testing methodologies to eliminate production defects. You will work closely with Engineering and DevOps to accelerate our release cycles while mentoring junior engineers in a quality-first engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and scale automated test frameworks for UI and APIs, integrating them directly into CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scenarios for complex integration workflows and regression cycles.
Implement AI-assisted testing tools for automated test generation, failure prediction, log analysis, and self-healing test scripts.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to drive shift-left testing, ensuring high test coverage before code deployment.
Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on defects, tracking issues across the lifecycle to minimize production leakage.
Mentor junior QA engineers and guide interns to foster technical growth and establish QA best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of software quality engineering experience with a strong foundation in modern testing methodologies.
Hands-on expertise building and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
Proven experience with API testing, backend validation, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Practical experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Claude) for test development and debugging.
Strong debugging skills and the ability to analyze complex system logs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Experience
Experience testing within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Proficiency with SQL, database validation, and cloud environments like AWS and Docker.
Knowledge of self-healing automation scripts and intelligent anomaly detection.
ISTQB certification.
