ROLE PURPOSE
The Marketing Intern supports the Cedar Group’s marketing team with content, campaigns, social, events, and research support. The role provides accurate, timely execution support while building foundational marketing skills, and offers practical exposure to B2B marketing across a consulting, research, and investment platform.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Support content creation, collateral, and social media tasks.
– Assist with campaign, email, and event execution.
– Conduct marketing and audience research and maintain data and lists.
– Prepare drafts, summaries, and supporting materials for review.
– Follow established processes and maintain brand consistency.

Accuracy of supported work • Timeliness and reliability • Quality of drafts and materials • Adherence to process and brand • Demonstrated learning.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Interest in B2B or digital marketing advantageous.
Experience: No formal experience required. Projects, coursework, or prior internships in marketing are advantageous, along with a genuine interest in marketing.
SKILLS, DOMAIN & COMPETENCIES
Skills: Basic content and social skills; Research and data organisation; Microsoft Office, Canva and other supporting marketing tools; Clear written communication; Attention to detail; Time management.
PROGRESSION & SUCCESS
Progression: Subject to sustained performance, demonstrated capability, business requirements, and the availability of suitable opportunities, the internship may lead to consideration for a Marketing Executive position.
Success (first 12–18 months): Supported work is accurate and timely; Content and campaigns are well supported; Processes and brand are followed; Marketing knowledge develops.
