Experience: 2–5 Years (Cement / Building Materials Industry preferred)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline. Diploma/Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
The Senior Executive – Logistics (Godown) is responsible for managing day-to-day godown operations, ensuring smooth secondary dispatches, accurate documentation, inventory control, transporter coordination, and adherence to company logistics processes to support timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Supervise daily godown operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch of cement.
Coordinate secondary dispatches with transporters and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure accurate preparation and verification of invoices, e-way bills, and delivery challans.
Monitor loading activities to ensure safety, quantity accuracy, and damage prevention.
Track vehicle movement and ensure timely POD/EPOD submission and closure.
Maintain godown stock records and ensure physical stock matches system inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and company logistics SOPs.
Handle transporter and driver coordination at godown level.
Resolve operational issues related to dispatch delays, shortages, or documentation.
Support audits, inspections, and MIS data sharing with seniors.

0–3 Months:
Understand godown processes, documentation flow, transporter network, and system usage. Build coordination with sales, transporters, and seniors.
4–6 Months:
Stabilize dispatch operations, improve POD compliance, reduce errors, and strengthen inventory control.
7–9 Months:
Enhance operational efficiency, support cost optimization initiatives, and ensure high process discipline.
10–12 Months:
Deliver consistent godown performance, support audits effectively, and act as a reliable operations anchor.
Short Term (1–2 Years): Develop capability to independently manage godown operations and mentor helpers.
Medium Term (2–4 Years): Progress to Senior Executive / Officer – Logistics handling multiple godowns.
Long Term (4–6 Years): Prepare for Assistant Manager – Logistics role with end-to-end responsibility.
