Position Title: Engineer – IRPL Maintenance
Department: Maintenance - IRPL
Reports To: Deputy Manager (Maintenance)
Location: Guwahati
Grade: M-7
To manage all tyre-related operations and inventory control through the Apollo Tyre Avolve application, ensure accurate vehicle, tyre, and battery inspections, maintain up-to-date records in FMS/IMS and Google Sheets, and provide timely reporting to the MIS officer and management for effective fleet maintenance and operational efficiency.
Manage and operate the Apollo Tyre Avolve application for all tyre-related tasks and transactions.
Conduct and maintain Vehicle Inspection checklists for fleet vehicles.
Perform and update Tyre Inspection checklists to ensure tyre health and compliance.
Carry out Battery Inspection checklists and monitor battery condition across the fleet.
Update and maintain the Inventory Management System (IMS) sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
Manage inventory flow of tyres, batteries, and related spares through IMS.
Maintain accurate records in FMS/IMS and Google Sheets for tyre and inventory tracking.
Ensure timely reporting to the MIS officer and keep management updated on tyre and inventory status.
Support continuous improvement in tyre management processes and inventory control practices.
Accuracy and timely updation of Avolve App transactions – 20%
Completion and accuracy of Vehicle, Tyre & Battery Inspection checklists – 20%
Timely and accurate IMS sheet updation and inventory records – 20%
Inventory accuracy and control of tyres/batteries/spares – 15%
Timeliness and quality of reporting to MIS officer and management – 15%

Knowledge of tyre management systems and inventory control practices
Proficiency in Apollo Tyre Avolve application
Vehicle, tyre, and battery inspection processes

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
1 year of relevant experience in tyre management, inventory control, or fleet maintenance operations
Basic computer proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and related applications
Knowledge of tyre management systems (Avolve) will be an added advantage
