Position: Control Room Executive – Fleet Operations
Department: Logistics / Dispatch
Location: Plant / Central Control Room
Reporting To: Logistics Manager / Transport In-charge
To ensure safe, timely, and efficient movement of cement-carrying trucks by continuously monitoring vehicle location, driving behaviour, route adherence, stoppages, and safety alerts through Fleetex GPS & Dashcam systems. Act as the central coordination point between transporters, drivers, security gates, and the dispatch team.
Monitor all cement outbound trucks via Fleetex GPS, Dashcam, and telematics apps.
Track trip progress: loading, gate out, route, halts, and delivery.
Check for route deviations, unscheduled stoppages, overspeeding, or rash driving.
Ensure movement is within defined SOP routes and time norms.
Monitor harsh braking, acceleration, fatigue alerts, night driving behaviour.
View and review dashcam footage for unsafe driving or distraction.
Escalate critical safety violations immediately to Transport Manager.
Ensure trucks depart on schedule after loading.
Coordinate with plant gate, weighbridge, and dispatch officers.
Track delays at loading, parking, or en-route check posts.
Escalate vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or en-route issues.
Assist drivers with route support and connect them to transporters.
Report if truck is stationary beyond SLA (e.g., more than 20–30 min).
Raise red flags for suspected pilferage, diversion, or unauthorized detours.
Prepare shift-wise logs and daily reports:
Route deviations
Delayed deliveries
Overspeeding cases
Stoppage report
Safety violations (dashcam)
Assist in monthly transporter performance evaluation.
Maintain historical records of alerts & actions taken.
Ensure Fleetex data is accurate and updated.
Tag vehicles, drivers, routes & trips properly in the system.
Troubleshoot basic app and device issues, coordinate with vendor.

Transporter-wise performance improvement
GPS Monitoring (Fleetex): Hands-on proficiency in Fleetex dashboard, app, live tracking, alerts, and playback.
Dashcam Monitoring: Ability to interpret dashcam events: distraction, fatigue, tailgating, mobile usage.
Route Mapping: Knowledge of cement dispatch routes, highways, tolls, transit times.
Transport & Logistics Basics: Truck turnaround time, loading norms, driver duty.
Data Entry & MIS: Excel reporting, digital logs, shift reports.
Incident Handling: Basic knowledge of breakdown support, escalation matrix.
Alertness & Attention to Detail: Constant monitoring without missing alerts.
Communication Skills: Clear coordination with drivers, gate, dispatch, transporters.
Decision Making: Ability to judge seriousness and escalate correctly.
Discipline & Reliability: Shift punctuality, adherence to control room protocol.
Calm Under Pressure: Maintain composure during accidents, system failures.
Integrity: Handling sensitive route & fleet data with confidentiality.
Graduate / Diploma (any discipline).
1–3 years of experience in logistics, fleet monitoring, transport control room.
Knowledge of any GPS platform (Fleetex/Tracknovate/LocoNav/BlackBuck).
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, reporting tools).
Shift-based control room operations (24x7 monitoring).
High-alert environment with constant screen monitoring.
Coordination with multiple stakeholders.
