Maintain daily books of accounts, including voucher and journal entries, and ledger scrutiny.
Ensure accurate accounting of sales, purchases, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Manage comprehensive GST compliance: return filing, reconciliation, and audit support.
Oversee TDS compliance: deductions, timely payments, and return filing.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing processes.
Prepare essential MIS reports covering expenses, revenue, outstanding balances, and variances.
Coordinate effectively with internal departments for billing, documentation, and approvals.
Provide data and explanations to support statutory, internal, and external audits.
Ensure strict adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory norms.
Utilize SAP/ERP for transaction posting, reporting, and reconciliations.
2-5 years of experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar finance role.
B.Com or M.Com (Hons) qualification.
Strong grasp of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
Proven understanding of GST, TDS, and other taxation matters.
Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
High degree of ownership, accountability, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Effective communication and coordination skills for internal and external stakeholders.
**First 3 Months:** Master company accounting processes and ERP systems, taking ownership of routine accounting and compliance.
**By 6 Months:** Independently manage GST, TDS, and statutory compliances, while improving MIS report accuracy and turnaround time.
**By 9 Months:** Strengthen internal controls, contribute to cost control initiatives, and become a reliable finance support for business teams.
**By 12 Months:** Consistently deliver error-free accounting and compliance, support process improvements, and demonstrate readiness for increased responsibility.
**Annually:** Achieve 100% statutory and tax compliance with no penalties, ensure timely closure of accounts, and provide accurate, insightful MIS to support management decisions.
