Take complete ownership of UI layer design and delivery, contribute strongly to the overall product vision, and actively drive team planning.
Design and develop new user-facing features using Angular, including experimentation and rapid iterations.
Build reusable components and front-end libraries using functional programming concepts for long-term scalability.
Translate product designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code.
Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers, ensuring a consistent experience for members across supported devices.
Build for scale, performance, and high availability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including design and product management.
Mentor and coach junior engineers; contribute to enhancing engineering culture through PR reviews, design/architecture discussions, and by adding standards and processes that strengthen the team.
Write unit tests, integration tests, and E2E tests to prevent regression and ensure feature quality.
Perform post-release monitoring to track member impact, identify issues, and drive improvements.
Evaluate and trade off architectural choices to find optimal solutions for product requirements.
Build scalable, maintainable, and extensible codebases.
Possess strong understanding of Angular concepts including Dependency Injection, Signals, and Reactive Forms.
Have hands-on experience with Micro Frontend development.
Experience building customer-facing applications with focus on SEO, schema handling, indexing with search engines and LLMs.
Experience with performance profiling and measuring web-application performance.
Ability to debug and implement changes across the web application.
Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG).
6+ years of front-end development experience.
Strong grasp of design patterns with the ability to translate design concepts into low-level implementation.
Proficiency in JavaScript, DOM manipulation, JavaScript object model, HTML, and CSS.
Deep understanding of modern web application architecture, API design patterns, performance optimization, and scalability.
Experience with modern technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Chrome extension development, etc.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, data structures, and front-end libraries.
Hands-on experience with RxJS.
Experience with state-management libraries such as NgRx.
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tooling.
Experience using tools such as Webpack, Vite, Jest, Vitest, PNPM, Angular Material, or similar component libraries.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Experience with visualization libraries and comfortable working with large data-set-driven analytical applications.
Experience leading, coaching, or managing engineering teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
