Role Purpose
To support MIS reporting, data management, dashboard preparation, and business analysis by ensuring accurate data compilation, reporting, and timely delivery of actionable information to management.
Key Responsibilities
1. MIS Reporting & Data Management
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Collect, consolidate, and validate data from various departments.
Maintain accurate Excel databases and reporting trackers.
Assist in preparing performance reports and management summaries.
2. Data Analytics & Dashboard Development
Analyze business data to identify trends and performance gaps.
Create basic dashboards and visual reports using Excel and Power BI.
Support KPI tracking and actual vs. target analysis.
Assist in developing automated reporting formats.
3. Data Accuracy & Reporting
Perform data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation.
Ensure timely submission of reports.
Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of business data.
Identify and highlight data discrepancies.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, HR, Finance, and other departments for data collection.
Support management with ad hoc reports and presentations.
Assist in improving reporting processes and data accuracy.
Required Skills
Must-Have Skills
Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, SUMIF/SUMIFS).
Basic understanding of data analysis and MIS reporting.
Ability to prepare charts, reports, and presentations.
Strong numerical and analytical aptitude.
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
Basic Power BI knowledge.
Familiarity with SQL or Power Query.
Understanding of SAP / ERP systems.
Academic projects or certifications in Data Analytics, Excel, or Power BI.
