Business Development Manager (Project/ Liaisoning)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and well-connected professional to manage project liaisoning, statutory approvals, stakeholder coordination, business development support, and brand promotion for industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects through effective coordination with government authorities, consultants, approval agencies, and business stakeholders to ensure timely approvals, smooth project execution, strong relationships, and enhanced business visibility.

Responsibilities & Outcomes:

• Government Liaisoning & Approvals: Coordinate with government departments (eg, Railway, AAI, PHE, Municipality, PWD, NTPC, NHAI, WAPCOS, MES etc.), statutory authorities, consultants, and approval engineers for obtaining approvals, licenses, NOCs, permits, and product approvals.
  → Outcome: Timely approvals and smooth project execution.

• Application Processing & Coordination: Manage end-to-end documentation, submissions, follow-ups, project site visits, and coordination with authorities, consultants, EPC contractors, and engineers.
  → Outcome: Faster processing and reduced project delays.

• Stakeholder Management & Representation: Build strong relationships with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and business partners while representing the organization in meetings and discussions.
  → Outcome: Stronger business relations and better coordination.

• Business Development & Brand Promotion: Support business growth initiatives and promote the company’s products, projects, and brand presence across industry and government platforms.
  → Outcome: Enhanced brand visibility and business opportunities.

• MIS Reporting & Issue Resolution: Maintain approval trackers, status reports, and documentation records while proactively resolving bottlenecks through timely coordination and escalation.
  → Outcome: Better visibility, faster decision-making, and seamless workflow execution.

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of experience in Business Development, Brand Promotion, liaisoning, government approvals, or project execution.

• Strong understanding of product approvals, compliance processes, and stakeholder coordination.

• Good communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, approvals, and follow-ups within timelines.

• Professional, proactive, and business-oriented approach with strong coordination and brand representation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

• Experience in steel products, infrastructure, real estate, manufacturing, or industrial projects will be preferred.

• Familiarity with government, semi-govt, PSUs and private authorities and approval processes will be an added advantage.

• Multilingual capability (Hindi, Bengali, English) preferred.
