About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Lead (Physician Operations) to
manage the end-to-end physician onboarding lifecycle. This role acts as the primary liaison
between physician leadership, healthcare facilities, credentialing teams, and recruiting
partners to ensure physicians are successfully onboard and ready to begin practice.
The ideal candidate will have experience in US Healthcare Provider Credentialing,
Physician Onboarding, Provider Enrollment, and Operations Coordination. Success in
this role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication, and the ability to
manage multiple physician onboarding projects while ensuring compliance with regulatory
and facility requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Interview Coordination
• Coordinate physician interviews with leadership and external recruiting partners.
• Schedule interviews across multiple time zones and manage calendar logistics.
• Track candidates throughout the recruitment pipeline.
• Attend interviews to document availability, licensing status, and onboarding
timelines.
• Communicate regularly with physicians, recruiters, and internal stakeholders.
Provider Credentialing & Enrollment
• Manage the complete provider credentialing and recredentialing process.
• Collect and review credentialing documents, including:
o CV
o Medical Licenses
o DEA Registration
o Board Certifications
o ACLS/BLS Certifications
o Malpractice Insurance
o NPI Information
• Maintain and update CAQH profiles.
• Coordinate provider enrollment through PECOS and commercial payer portals.
• Perform Primary Source Verification (PSV) where required.
• Monitor credentialing status and proactively follow up with facilities and payers.
Physician Onboarding
• Coordinate the end-to-end physician onboarding process.
• Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed before the physician's start
date.
• Coordinate EMR access, IT setup, training schedules, and site readiness.
• Share onboarding resources, orientation details, and facility-specific requirements.
• Track onboarding milestones to ensure timely physician launches.
Compliance & Documentation
• Maintain accurate physician records within Airtable and internal systems.
• Ensure complete and error-free documentation with no missing information.
• Track expiring licenses, DEA registrations, certifications, malpractice insurance, and
other credentials.
• Coordinate timely renewals to maintain provider compliance.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure credentialing accuracy and regulatory
compliance.
Contract & Malpractice Coordination
• Facilitate Provider Services Agreement execution through BoldSign.
• Coordinate with malpractice insurance providers to obtain Certificates of Insurance
(COI).
• Maintain malpractice insurance trackers and documentation.
• Ensure contracts and supporting documents are properly maintained.
Operations & Stakeholder Coordination
• Serve as the primary point of contact between physicians, healthcare facilities,
credentialing teams, recruiting partners, and internal operations.
• Identify onboarding delays and proactively resolve issues.
• Monitor onboarding timelines to ensure physicians are ready for scheduled site
launches.
• Maintain detailed trackers and provide regular operational updates.

Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Human
Resources, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in:
o Provider Credentialing
o Physician Onboarding
o Provider Enrollment
o US Healthcare Operations
• Experience coordinating with physicians, hospitals, or healthcare facilities.
• Strong understanding of credentialing documentation and compliance
requirements.
