Job Description
Position: Junior Accounts Executive
Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM - Mon to Sat
Exp 1-3 years
Sal 20,000 to 35,000p.m.
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Executive to support our accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, basic understanding of statutory compliances, and hands-on experience with Tally.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and passing daily accounting entries in Tally.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers for timely payments.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related documentation.
Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments as required.
Generate MIS reports and provide financial data to management.
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com preferred).
1–2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation requirements.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience in handling end-to-end accounting processes.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.
