Logistics Executive / Sr. Executive
Role Description
The Logistics Executive / Sr. Executive will be responsible for executing and coordinating day-to-day logistics operations across Kimbal Private Limited. This role will work closely with procurement, production, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth transportation, inventory handling, and timely delivery of goods.
The role requires hands-on experience in logistics operations, coordination with transporters and vendors, and the ability to ensure efficient execution of processes while maintaining accuracy and service levels.
Key Responsibilities
Execute end-to-end logistics operations including inbound and outbound shipments
Coordinate transportation and ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods
Work closely with warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy and stock movement
Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers for daily operations
Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or operational issues
Collaborate with internal teams (Procurement, Production, Sales) for smooth order fulfillment
Maintain logistics documentation such as invoices, e-way bills, and delivery records
Prepare and update MIS reports, shipment trackers, and operational data
Monitor day-to-day logistics KPIs like delivery timelines and shipment status
Support process improvements and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Manage import/export shipments and customs clearance
Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, transporters, and vendors
Handle import/export documentation and regulatory compliance
Track shipments and ensure timely delivery/material availability
Monitor logistics costs, transit timelines, and operational KPIs
Coordinate with procurement, production, warehouse, and sales teams
Resolve shipment delays and operational issues
Maintain ERP updates, MIS reports, and shipment records
Ensure smooth inventory movement and supply chain execution
Drive process improvement and logistics cost optimization

Job Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics operations
Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, or similar sectors
Functional & Technical Skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory handling
Familiarity with transportation coordination and dispatch processes
Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting
Good problem-solving and coordination skills
Effective communication abilities
