About Edvak
Edvak builds software for healthcare practices in the United States. Our engineers don't just write code for tickets. They own product features from idea to production.
The Role
As a Product Engineer, you won't get tickets. You'll get problems. You will understand what users need, shape the solution, build it across the stack and ship it to production. This is a hands-on engineering role: most of your time goes into building, with AI tools helping you move fast.
Key Responsibilities
- Own features end to end, from understanding the requirement to shipping and improving it in production
- Work with users, product and design to turn problems into clear requirements
- Build across the stack with TypeScript: Angular on the frontend, Node.js and MongoDB on the backend
- Think through the user experience, not just the code
- Use AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot) as part of your daily workflow
- Write clean, tested code and review your teammates' work
Requirements
- 2–5 years of full-stack development experience
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript, with a modern frontend framework (Angular preferred; React or Vue welcome) and Node.js
- Experience with MongoDB or another database, including schema design, queries and indexes
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Have shipped features that real users rely on, and cared about how well they worked for them
- Comfortable using AI tools to write, review and debug code
Worked mostly in React? You'll pick up Angular quickly. We care more about how you build than which framework you used.
Preferred Qualifications
- Express or NestJS
- Experience at a product company or startup
- Healthcare or SaaS experience
- A good eye for UX: you notice when something is confusing to use
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation
- Real ownership of what you build
- Work on problems that matter in healthcare
Edvak is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds.
