Role Summary
An experienced Oracle APEX developer to deliver enhancements and modernisation across EGA's MES-Midstream applications (iRPMS, WBS, PDC) and to support their operation on the upgraded Oracle Linux / ExaCC 26ai platform. The resource is expected to own the full lifecycle — from impact assessment through development, testing, deployment, hyper-care and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and enhance Oracle APEX applications for iRPMS, WBS and PDC.
Support compatibility and upgrade of APEX applications on Oracle Linux / ExaCC 26ai.
Build back-end PL/SQL logic and RESTful / web-service integrations.
Prepare functional and technical design documents, unit-test evidence, test cases and results.
Support system testing, UAT, deployment, hyper-care and knowledge transfer.
Adhere to EGA development, documentation and change-management standards.
Essential Skills — Must-Have
5+ years hands-on Oracle APEX development (18.x–22.x or current release).
Strong PL/SQL, SQL and Oracle Database skills.
APEX UI/UX, dynamic actions, interactive reports/grids and REST data sources.
RESTful / web-service integration experience.
Full-SDLC delivery with disciplined design and test documentation.
Able to work offsite full-time, Mon–Fri, 9 hrs/day aligned to EGA working hours.
Preferred Skills — Nice-to-Have
Exadata / ExaCC exposure; Oracle 19c / 23ai / 26ai familiarity.
Oracle Forms & Reports awareness (supports Forms-to-APEX modernisation direction).
ORDS, JavaScript and CSS for advanced APEX customisation.
Manufacturing / MES / process-industry domain experience.
Integration experience with plant automation, laboratory or mobile systems.
